The 8300 is ideal for producers that either purchase bales or make their own combination of large squares and rounds. This model can competently process either style without the need for expensive, dedicated machines. Either way, it gives you the freedom to use the most economical bales for your operation.
Bale King processors help simplify your operation and work to get more out of your feed supply. Processed bales take less energy to digest while windrowing gives every cow equal access. Bale King processors are also the tool of choice for bedding straw. Owners report as much as 3X the coverage per bale compared to rolling straw out.
Based on the proven Bale King 8200, the 8300 has been enhanced with the following features:
The standard 1000 RPM driveline with shearbolt protection powers a low maintenance gearbox. No belts or chains to maintain. The 80 degree constant velocity PTO shaft gives you extra maneuverability in tight quarters.
The bale rollers are direct drive by high torque hydraulic motors with flow and pressure protection.
The upgraded hoop grate adjustment lever provides easy adjustment for varying bale conditions.
The heart of every Bale King is the X-Rotor which provides notable benefits over pipe style rotors.
The 27″ diameter rotor at 7000 ft./min flail speed combined with 28 heavy flails on oil impregnated bushings provides exceptional aggression and durability.
The 8300 features upgraded bale rollers to improve performance in a wide variety of conditions. The alternating long hoop /short hoop design improves throughput while controlling the flow through the rotor.
A close 5″ hoop spacing prevents large square bale flakes from passing uncontrolled through the rotor.
The bale rollers feature four rows of wide paddles to provide the traction required for a wide range of bale types. These rollers offer effective bale manipulation, low maintenance, and are unaffected by snow and ice freezing in the tub.
Twine guards on the both ends of the rotor and bale rollers keep twine and net out of your bearings.
The 8300’s hydraulically actuated wing panel permits processing of round or square bales. You don’t even have to leave the cab to make the switch! The wing is great for manhandling stubborn or frozen bales for better rotor feeding.
Normally, you lower the wing to load the square bale then process the bale momentarily to cut the twine. Once the twine is cut, start raising the wing to keep the disintegrating bale over the rotor.
NEW! Standard Wing Extension
An added 8″ adjustable wing extension is installed on the discharge side to help contain longer square bales when stood upright.
If height is an issue for storage or clearance, this extension can be brought down to the same height as the top of the hydraulic wing.
NEW! Optional Wing Extension
An optional wing extension kit is available to add to the top of the hydraulic wing. This helps when handling longer square bales (over 8.5ft). It can also be set at different angles, depending on preference.
Twin lift cylinders on the loading fork lift heavy, frozen bales with ease.
Heavy, straight fork tines slide under without skewing the bale. The adjustable tines handle various bale sizes.
Large 16.5Lx16.1 tires provide a smooth ride on rough ground and flotation is soft conditions. An axle extension on the wing-side provides additional stability.
All Bale King processors come with standard road lights, reflectors, and SMV signage.
Powder coat paint is standard for a long lasting, abrasion resistant finish.
NEW! Standard Adjustable Hose Holder
The hydraulic hoses can easily be adjusted by lifting and lowering the hose holder to avoid damage from rubbing on the PTO shaft.
Fine Chop Kit – The Fine Chop Kit adds the ability to chop material even finer.
The kit adds a row of adjustable-height knives with 3 positions: Full height, half height, and fully retracted.
Ideal when processing long greenfeed or silage. No tools required to raise or drop the knives.
This kit can easily be installed by the end user. It is also available as a factory option.
Back-up Camera Kit – Upgrade your 8300 with a camera to simplify loading.
It almost feels like cheating! The Back-up Camera Kit comes with everything you need to take the guess work out of loading bales.
The camera mount attaches to the rear axle of any 5000- or 8000-series processor. This puts the camera’s field-of-view at fork-level, exactly where you need it to be. This unobstructed view truly takes the frustration out of loading. No more missed attempts. Especially valuable when loading from 2 different stacks.
The Back-up Camera Kit runs off 12V and can be plugged into a cigarette lighter plug. The kit includes the camera (with bracket and magnet), a 7″ bracket-mount LCD display, two 15′ video/power cables, the camera axle mount, mounting hardware, remote control, and wiring harnesses.
Though the Standard Camera package features an IP68 durability rating and robust construction, for cold-weather climates, we recommend the V-Pro Camera package. This camera is rated IP69K and works down to -40°.
