The new Pulldozer 1220 A series scraper are built for efficient earthmoving in tough conditions. Key design features include:
Pulldozer scrapers are tested relentlessly in hard and rocky conditions. The new A series models offer a host of new features and benefits that enhance durability and maximize productivity.
Pulldozer scrapers are often found working in hard clay, muddy, and rocky conditions. Efficiency comes from heaping the bowl every time and reducing downtime from damage.
In these conditions, there are 2 standout features that make a Pulldozer scraper thrive. First is the semi-mount hitch. With 26% of the weight transferred to the tractor, you’ll gain all the traction you need to heap the bowl. This solid tractor to scraper connection also improves cutting control. You’ll get smoother cuts and a better finish compared to dolly style units.
The other key feature is the clean sidewall profile. On a Pulldozer scraper, the only parts exposed to the ground are solid steel and hardened wear plates. All pivot points, hydraulic cylinders, hoses, shields, and cover panels are mounted up and away from rocks, roots, and debris. We’ve gone to great lengths to conceal the hydraulics, to reduce the need for lightweight shields, and to shape the machine to avoid damaging rock jams.
A great partner to a Pulldozer blade, the scraper pans are ideally suited for digging deep or for longer hauls.
Bowl – The 1220A features a 20-yard bowl with a 131-1/2″ cutting width. It can be heaped to 22 cubic yards.
It is self loading or can be loaded with an excavator (with the optional GPS tower removed)
Twin central 3″ lift cylinders offer precise depth control.
Clean outer side walls on the bowl provide protection from rock damage and allow you to dig a vertical trench the width of the scraper.
The scraper bowl and apron are reinforced with QT-100 plate in strategic areas for extended service life
The 1220A is an ejector style scraper. The hydraulic ejector pushes all material including high moisture soil and clay out the front for complete unloading.
The high-backed ejector panel curves in at the top to redirect slabs of clay back in to the bowl. Slotted holes allow better visibility of the pup-scraper in tandem operation.
The ejector plate travel past the blade edge for total bowl cleanout. UMHW side guides and large steel base rollers protect the wearing surfaces.
The ejector and apron operate off one remote via a sequencing valve. The ejector automatically advances when the apron is fully raised.
The six-way semi-mount hitch supports the load while providing a wide range of motion in all directions. The Pulldozer 1220A will have no problem following your tractor through uneven terrain.
Connecting to your tractor is easy with the quick attach yoke.
For added durability, the high-load pin and bushing connections are line-bored to maintain tight tolerances.
1/2″ Pioneer hydraulic tips are standard. 3/4″ tips are optional. Two hydraulic remotes are required: one for lift, and one for the combined ejection/apron circuit.
Ride Control Accumulator – The standard ride control accumulator absorbs shock and improves the ride quality when the bowl is raised. At cutting depth, the accumulator is bypassed for consistent depth control.
The hose holder offers a wide range adjustment to suit various tractor styles.
Radials – Twin 875/65R29 tires pull with less rolling resistance in soft conditions. These premium radial tires are standard equipment.
A wide 136″ tire stance (outside-to-outside) offers excellent stability on slopes and uneven ground.
Hydraulic brakes are available.
Blade: The dropped center blade section acts like a wedge. It holds the unit down to minimize the walking effect.
Serrated blades penetrate with more force per inch of blade in hard-packed ground, meaning faster filling and less demand on your tractor.
Smooth blades are available
Hardened router bits protect the leading edges of the bowl
Gauges – The Pulldozer 1220A features a full suite of gauges to simplify operation. Standard gauges include a:
In tandem operation, an optional gauge kit relocates these indicators to the high-mounted GPS tower for easier viewing over the lead scraper
GPS Tower – The optional GPS tower places the receiver directly over the cutting edge for easy calibration and precise control.
Other Features:
Tandem compatible: Tandem scrapers are invaluable for longer hauls. Nearly double your productivity without doubling tractors and manpower. The tandem kit includes:
The tandem kit can be added to the 1220A at any time.
Semi Mount Hitch – We offer custom semi-mount hitch assemblies for common scraper tractors. If you have a unique application, please give us a call.
The scraper hitch replaces your existing drawbar. They are designed to handle the increased hitch weights of scraper duty.
Ag-Adapter – The Ag-adapter hitch insert converts your semi-mount scraper hitch back to a standard agricultural drawbar.
This makes it convenient to swap back and forth between your scraper and other implements as you work though your earthmoving projects.
