Simple and Reliable
The GT40 is another proven Bale King product with origins going back over 20 years. Initially offered as the grain tank attachment on Vortex bale processors, customer demand grew for a stand-alone grain feeder. This tank and auger system is simple, reliable, and convenient to operate. It’s portable size makes it ideal for reaching bunks in smaller pens and alleys, and it doesn’t tie up a main tractor to operate.
The GT40 can be used to fill bunks, top dress processed windrows, or simply dispense grain into piles in a pasture. Say goodbye to pails and step up to the easy way!
Standard Features
- The GT40 starts with a heavy 12 gauge tank assembly that’s built to work for years
- Its steep hopper angle ensures nearly total cleanout in free flowing grains and pellets. An agitator kit is available for rations particularly prone to bridging
- 6″ Auger flighting is provides ample capacity for grains, pellets, and range cubes.
- The large lid opening with a low filling height makes loading quick and convenient
- Each GT40 is finished with a top quality, abrasion resistant powder coat paint

GT40 Hydraulic Fork Mount Option
Simple and effective. The fork pockets are adjustable for various power units.
Hydraulic auger drive means reliable performance in all-weather conditions.
Comes with 8ft hoses and requires 1 tractor remote.
A great option if you want to bring the processor along. Process a windrow, then turn around and top-dress it!
GT40 3-Point Hitch Kit
Free up your loader and add the 3 point hitch kit. This puts the weight over your rear tires and improves forward visibility.
The fork pockets remain for even more versatility!
GT40 Electric Fork Mount
This model (not exactly as shown) includes electric drive with stand alone battery, charger, 30ft cord and pendant.
This self contained unit is particularly suitable for mounting on a flat deck truck or trailer.
GT40 Electric Trailer Mount Option
The best option for high levels of mobility and convenience.
The 1-hp auger motor runs off an integrated 12V Deep-Cycle battery with built-in 120V charger. A 30ft cord and pendant puts the control where you need it.
215/70R15 tires provide ample ground clearance and low rolling resistance in soft or rough conditions.
This combination allows you to pull it with a truck, tractor or utility vehicle. (Note, the loaded GT40 can be over 3000lb. Please ensure the towing vehicle is rated adequately)
