Yes, Bridgeview customers have assembled their own bin and cone packages. Instructions are provided with each package and other than arranging for lifting equipment, no special tools are required. Assembly instructions must be adhered to diligently for warranty purposes. Any unauthorized modifications such as relocated or missing X-braces will void the warranty.

The bolt-together nature of Bridgeview hopper cones allows shipping virtually anywhere. As such, customers typically source their installation services locally. Bridgeview has access to crews across Western Canada and some areas of the U.S although our customers often deal directly with the crew of their choice.

Q: Should I choose a skid or concrete foundation, and how do I plan it?

Skid packages are available for bin packages up to 27ft x 7 tier. The best foundation depends on how permanent the installation will be, how the site is laid out, and how the cone will be used. Skid packages can offer faster setup and added flexibility, while concrete foundations offer stability and easy cleanup for more permanent installations. Review site conditions, leveling, load requirements, and anchor planning before finalizing installation.

Q: How do I plan a concrete pad?

The concrete required is dependent on local ground conditions. Your local concrete supplier can assist you with designing an appropriate foundation.

Q: Can Jet Stream aeration be added now or later?

Absolutely. Our Jet Stream aeration is specifically built for these hopper systems. You can spec it out with a new build or add it to many retrofit applications later on. When ordered along with your new hopper cone, the cone sheets will be pre-punched with all bolt holes and ducting holes required to install the Jet Stream system which significantly reduces installation time.

If your bin is not listed above, we’ll ask you for the circumference of your bin (measured at the bottom of the valley in the corrugation as well as the number of spaces between the bolts per bin sheet. We can often cross reference your bin to a model already in production.
