48ft Header Transport

Todays combine headers offer huge efficiency in the field. The Flexcart 48 is designed to help you maintain that efficiency between fields with all the features you need to quickly load and secure your header, hook up, and get it moving down the road.

Frame

The heavy duty frame features a pair of 4″ x 14″ laminated beams. The 2-piece laminated beam increases strength and stiffness over standard structural tube.

Heavy-wall structural steel with extensive reinforcement make for a 5800lb base weight

The frame rails and support saddles are spaced to provide solid support for the cutterbar.

Rear Axles

Tandem 8000lb axles with increased braking capacity manage the load with confidence

Full torflex suspension offers a smooth ride and low maintenance.

The axle mounts are heavily reinforced to maintain wheel alignment and prolong tire life.

Electric brakes are standard on both rear axles.

Front Axle

A 6500lb torsion stub axle provides a smooth ride up front.

The narrow wheel spacing provides exceptional turning radius for maneuverability in tight quarters.

Tires

6 x ST235/80R16 tires on 8-bolt hubs are standard

10 ply front tires and 14 ply rear tires support the load with increased tire life over the long haul

Front fenders are standard.

Hitch

The telescoping hitch simplifies hook-up. Just back up close, extend the hitch as necessary to hook up, then back up slightly to re-lock the hitch.

A 21000lb capacity 2 5/16″ ball coupler with safety chains is standard.

The bolt-on style coupler allows for optional pintle or clevis type hitches.

Other Features

Spare knives can be stored in the left side frame rail.

A spring loaded cover provides easy access. Internal tie down points are available for extra security.

An auxiliary storage compartment in the front frame crossmember provides convenient storage for straps.

LED Lights are standard.

Support and Tie-Down

Adjustable support saddles and ratchet strap can be quickly positioned to match your header.

The support saddles are lined with UHMW plastic to help protect your paint.

Both flat hook and choker style straps are available to suit your needs.

John Deere HD50 Specific Feature

For John Deere HD50 owners, the rear axles are positioned to allow the right inner gauge wheel to stay in place during transport.
