Much more than just narrow transport, the Transformer’s hydraulic wings let you fit anywhere and shape anything:
Only with a Pulldozer Transformer from Bridgeview
The size and strength of today’s tractors makes them supremely capable earthmoving machines when paired with the right tool. Bridgeview was the first to offer a blade up to the challenge and the product line has be growing over 15 years.
Pulldozer Transformers take all the features of our straight blade series and cranks the capabilities to the max. For precision landscaping, these machines not only make the job easier, but they can make it possible in the first place. The hydraulic wings shape and conform to the land the way you want while giving you a narrower machine when you need it. Consider cleaning a roadside ditch near a fenceline. A 24ft straight blade may not physically fit down into the ditch while a 2470 Transformer will fold in and conform with ease.
Add one pass ditching, crowning, and terracing to the mix, combined with a narrow transport width and you have an unrivalled earthmoving tool. Whether you’re into construction, road-building, well-site maintenance, or farm land improvement, a Pulldozer Transformer will pay dividends.
The U-Shaped Blade is the heart of the machine. In its straight position, it is built to move mountains of dirt.
Quick Specs:
The 1870 is productive with 250 – 400hp while the 2470 is built to handle your 620hp quad track
Hydraulic Wings on our Patented Canted Wing Axis – The hallmark feature of the Transformer.
By tilting the wing axis towards the rear, the wings arc upwards through their forward travel. Combined with -10 degree to +40 degree travel (from straight), this motion gives the Transformer its shape-shifting ability.
The wings are manipulated by massive 5″ hydraulic cylinders and are independently adjustable. These machines are built to be worked in any configuration. You have full control from the cab to adjust your blade on-the-go to suit your project.
Ditching – As the wings fold forward, they raise to create a neat U-Shaped ditch. The slope of the sides is controlled by your wing angle. Work from the center of the ditch upwards rather than working off the sides with a straight blade. Also useful for ripping into harder soil.
Crowning – As the blades retract behind the center position, the tips lower to create a gentle crown. This configuration is useful for any situation where you need to reach over the edge to grade.
Terracing – Create a terrace with 1 wing forward and 1 wing back.
Levelling – The U-Shape blade is shaped to cut and roll the dirt for easy filling. Excellent visibility of the cutting edge along with an extra long wheelbase makes the Transformer a remarkable levelling machine. Also a great tool to pull dirt from hills to elevate low areas.
Digging – The blades can cut to 15″ below grade in one pass. Excellent for digging ponds or burial pits for rocks and brush piles.
High Lift – The 2ft blade clearance lets you unload quickly, clear rocks, or lift out of a mud hole if you get in a little too deep.
The telescoping axle extends in the field for stability and retracts for narrow transport on the road. In wet conditions when mud and clay start to build up on the outer wings, the wide tire track of the 1870 and 2470 resists that off-center load to maintain precise depth and tilt control.
The axle also acts as a heavy counterweight for maximum blade cutting pressure.
You’ll appreciate the narrow transport mode of the Transformers. The 2470 folds in to under 14ft while the 1870 collapses to a mere 10ft.
Road lights and transport locks for the lift and tilt cylinders are standard.
Cutting Edges – Serrated or Smooth
Replaceable grader-style blades offer aggressive cutting and long wear.
Smooth blades offer a level finish for project cleanup. Also a good choice for road maintenance or snow removal.
Serrated blades double your cutting pressure from 1000lb/ft to 2000lb/ft. These blades are the preferred choice for rough work and most agricultural work. They cut harder with less power for more productivity. They leave the surface less compacted for an excellent seed-bed.
Oversize Tires – Built for Soft Conditions.
We know that owners take their Pulldozers into the harshest, muddiest conditions they can find. That’s why we fit big rubber on each unit for better flotation and puncture resistance.
The Pulldozer 1870 features 750/60R26 Muckmasters.
The Pulldozer 2470 runs massive 1000/50R25’s.
The 70 series models build upon the 50 series with a host of improvements that cover everything from improved hose routing to new frame and axle reinforcements. We test, improve, and continue extensive testing on our earthmoving products under real-world conditions to ensure they exceed our customers expectations.
All Pulldozers are sandblasted and powder coated for a high quality, abrasion resistant finish.
Bull Pull Hitch – Available in Cat 4 or Cat 5 sizes, this hitch provides a tight connection to your drawbar. You’ll appreciate the smooth, quiet ride while working over rough and rocky ground.
Safety chains are standard
The hose loop and hose holder provide flexibility for every type of tractor
Gauges – A full suite of gauges gives you a clear, visible view of you blade position for precise landscaping.
Indicators include:

XL Trencher Option – Transformers are supremely versatile in stock form, but for even more capability, consider the trencher attachment. Available as a Pre-Order factory option, the XL can rip a V-shaped trench up to 42″ deep with no overburden. No ridges to block water from entering.
The XL trencher is invaluable for draining water logged land. With the blade up and the trencher down, it pulls easy enough to get further into the mud to create drainage channels.
The tip is hardened and the blade retracts fully to allow normal Pulldozer operation.
The XL Trencher features an integrated depth indicator which is easy to read from the cab and permits consistency when operating.
